Clarke Real Estate is a privately held real estate investment company that acquires and manages commercial real estate properties with a focus on apartments and self storage facilities on behalf of individuals and institutional investors.

Clarke Real Estate was founded in 2005 by Managing Principals Dwaine Clarke and Lance Gordon. The founding principals have more than 30 years of combined real estate experience.

We have built a team of seasoned commercial real estate professionals who are experienced at structuring a range of investment programs. Our acquisition focus is on properties located in emerging, geographically diverse markets.

Executive Management

Dwaine Clarke – President & Managing Partner

Mr. Clarke is the President and managing partner of Clarke Real Estate Group, LLC and is responsibility for the Firm’s operations. In particular, Mr. Clarke guides the strategic planning, acquisition and asset management activities of Clarke Real Estate and oversees new business initiatives. Mr. Clarke has been successful in the real estate acquisitions, brokerage and property management industries for over 10 years. Mr. Clarke formed Clarke Real Estate Group in 2004 in order to create a vehicle for private and institutional investors to acquire and own income-producing real estate.

Prior to forming his own companies, Mr. Clarke worked with two other real estate companies, where he was responsible for real estate acquisitions, management, development, and finance. Mr. Clarke has also invested capital in numerous real estate and technology ventures. Mr. Clarke received his B.S. in Business Management and Computer Science from American International College.

Mr. Clarke is a member of the Young Leaders Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Investor and Apartment Owner Association, African American & West Indian Coalition.

Lancelot Gordon – Vice President & Managing Partner

Mr. Gordon is the Vice President & Managing Partner of Clarke Real Estate Group, LLC and is responsible for the company’s construction, development and financing of the firms investment projects. Mr. Gordon has over 25 years of real estate construction, development, finance, asset management and consulting experience in both the public and private sector. Mr. Gordon has developed and oversaw over $200 million dollars in real estate development projects in the multifamily, retail, senior housing, workforce housing, mixed use and industrial sectors.
